Houston, we have mobility...

Hi there Everybody...Sorry I've been a bad blogger, and not posted often enough lately. I'll just add another notch to my Mommy Guilt Belt. It's been a rough week in the Weber household. Miss A is trying to set some kind of record for head injuries in one week and I feel so guilty. Only one has been my fault, but if the kid winds up with a speech impediment or crossed eyes or turns out to be a Republican, you can blame me and know it probably happened this week.



She is standing up, as you can see, and she is crawling, and she is taking steps while she leans on whatever she pulled herself up with. And she is hitting her head on everything she can, the floor, the phone, her blocks, her leapfrog table, you name it, she has bumped her head on it.

But we have to also look at the good... first of all, she is learning, she has figured out how to sit down from the standing position before she lets go of whatever was holding her up, so that should cut the number of head injuries down significantly I think. (please know when I say head injury, I'm just talking bumped heads, maybe a goose egg here or there, but nothing serious...I don't want to freak out the grandparents!!)

Also...It rained this week,



and it is supposed to cool down to the low nineties next week. I know you web-footed family members are thinking cool down does not mean nineties, but when it has been over 100 for 19 days straight, low 90's sounds just about heavenly.

And last but not least...Cougar Football is next week!! YES!! GO COUGS!!
