Standing Around

Well guess what...Miss A is pulling herself up. HOLY COW! The last six weeks have just been incredible. She does something new every couple of days. I don't know about this standing thing though...On the one hand, I'm ready for her to be a little girl, as this baby stuff gets boring sometimes. BUT, and it's a big but (one of two in our house, I'll give you two guesses who the other one belongs to), it's bittersweet to see her growing up so fast. I know when she is still my little baby girl she won't get hurt and she will be protected. Little girls become big girls, then they become teen agers, and if my mom is right, and karma is real, we will be in for a world of hurt when Miss A hits her teen years. So for now, I'm going to hold Miss A on my lap a lot, smell her head, and smooch her while I still can. And next time she stands up...I'm pushing her down. Kidding. Kind of.
