Happy Halloween (or November 8th)
This year Anna was going to try out Trick-or-Treating. It was going to be fun, we'd hit up the 3 or 4 neighbors who know us then settle in to handing out candy. A great fun family night. Sometimes it just doesn't work out that way...
I left work early on the big day so that I'd have time to get Anna ready and prepare for the kids knocking on the door all night, Jason called and informed me that he would have to stay late at work (he was being audited the next day), but would be home ASAP to take Anna out. No prob I thought.
Anna got in the car for the loooooong drive from Denton to Fort Worth, and before I know it, she is crashed out. I thought, good, she'll have a nap and then she can stay up a little later in case Jason gets home after 8. WRONG. That was it, she was out for the night. No dinner, no costume, just get me bed NOW out. So I called Jason and told him not to rush, the trick-or-treater was down for the count.
So on November 8th, we finally got around to putting the kid in her costume and taking pictures. The good news was my dad was in town, so he got to cash in on some of the photographic paydirt, here it is:
I know I'm biased...but seriously, how freakin' cute is she?
