Summer Update
Hidey-Ho everybody... I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. We have been busy with new jobs. Jason is doing his GNC thing for a while, and I am working at a new university. This is great for our family, because the extra skrilla comes in handy, Miss A is in a great in-home day care with 3 other kids, one is her age exactly and she obviously digs it. A big improvement over the National Chain Daycare Nightmare experience. My commute is now about 45-120 minutes, depending on if I'm driving in a monsoon or not. The commute is not fun, but it's a trade-off for working for a crazy person. Frankly, its completely worth it.
In June, we had a great visit from Grandmama Sally (Jason's Sally), we visited the Dallas Arboretum, and just had a nice time in general.
Another highlight has been Miss A's new wheels. She is very mobile as you can see below...
But lately, she likes it more when we (and by we, I mean Jason) do all the work.
We like the wagon because it has a place for us to set our beers. I keed, I keed. Actually it is going to make trips to the zoo much easier. We can carry a cooler and Miss A is belted in, and it will be easier to get her out and back in than her stroller. So as soon as the temp drops below 90 we'll head to the zoo. Maybe in November. I love Texas.
