A small rant

Texans. These people have so much state pride. State flags are all over the place, there is a clear air of supiority at being a Texan. So my question is...why don't these people take better care of their state? There is litter everywhere here. I have been to a lot of states, and I have never seen more litter on the side of the road than I have here. The strongest way to show pride in something is to take care of it. I think all this state pride stuff is bull.
